Saint Paul Institute (SPI) received Environmentally Friendly Award from the Ministry of Environment of the Kingdom of Cambodia on 6th April 2022 on the occasion of the Social and Behavior Change Community (SBCC) Crowd-Sourced Competition.

After announcement from H. E Bishop Olivier Schmitthaeusler, Apostolic Vicar of Phnom Penh to apply the green year to all Catholic Education Institutions within the academic year 2022-2023, Saint Paul Institute have prepared some program and activities to promote environmental inside the campus and apply to Ministry of Environment.

In fact, during the opening academic year 2021-2022, and commencement ceremony on 8th March 2022, H. E Dr. Say Sam Al, Minister of Environment of Cambodia, expresses appreciation and admiration to all the leaders of St. Paul Institute for providing the best quality and excellent education to the students who have been successful for the past 12 years under the leadership of H. E Bishop Olivier, Apostolic Vicar of Phnom Penh. In particular, H. E Dr. Say Sam Al, Minister of Environment, really admires all the work of H. E Olivier Schmitthaeusler, who is a great founder of St. Paul Institute, which contributes a lot to develop Cambodia society and promote environmental in all education institutions. On 22nd March 2022, H. E Dr. Say Sam Al, nominated Saint Paul Institute (SPI) is one Environmental Peace Award education institution in Cambodia.
