On April 29–30, 2026, Assumption College San Lorenzo hosted the 21st Pinoy Media Congress (PMC), welcoming over 1,000 communication students, educators, and media practitioners from across the country.
Established in 2005, PMC is a flagship communication conference organized by ABS-CBN, the Philippines’ largest media network, in partnership with the Philippine Association of Communication Educators (PACE). For its 21st edition, Assumption College served as host institution, providing a venue for meaningful engagement between students, educators, and industry leaders.
This year’s sessions featured leading media practitioners who shared insights on content creation, the evolving media landscape and the Filipino audience, as well as the role of advocacy in communication. Beyond industry learning, the congress reflected Assumption’s commitment to forming communicators who are guided by integrity, social responsibility, and a desire to contribute meaningfully to society.
The successful hosting of PMC 2026 was made possible through the collaborative efforts of students, faculty, staff, and partner organizations, embodying the Assumption spirit of excellence, service, and community.
