Tagbilaran City, Bohol, Philippines—Holy Name University (HNU) marked a pivotal moment in its academic history with the inaugural Graduate Studies Research Colloquium on April 12, 2025. This event served as a platform for showcasing groundbreaking research, fostering vibrant intellectual exchange, and building crucial collaborative networks, thereby strengthening the University’s academic community.  Central to the colloquium’s purpose was translating scholarly research into tangible, real-world solutions that benefit society and stimulate community development. The event’s success underscores HNU’s commitment to research excellence and its profound contribution to societal progress.  The colloquium highlighted the exceptional dedication of HNU’s graduate students and faculty but also powerfully demonstrated the University’s deep-rooted belief in research as a catalyst for meaningful and lasting change.

The colloquium showcased twelve impactful research works—dissertations, theses, and feasibility studies—that underwent a rigorous, multi-faceted evaluation process to assess their originality, methodological soundness, and potential for broader societal contribution.
