Held every 3 years, the FIUC General Assembly is a key event where participants listen to each other, share experiences and reflect on university issues.

This true summit of Catholic higher education brings together hundreds of Catholic university leaders around a unifying theme in line with our mission and values. The central theme of the 28th edition General Assembly is “Catholic universities, choreographers of knowledge”.

The celebration of the centenary of the International Federation of Catholic Universities will have a very special flavour, as it brings to a close the centenary celebrations of the Federation (1924-2024), which began in January 2024 in Rome with the conference “The University and the Church: the future of the Catholic University”.

Over the course of 5 days from 28 July to 1 August, 2025, the program alternates inspiring conferences with high-profile speakers, round tables and participatory workshops on topics such as academic diplomacy, the social impact of the Catholic university, and the experience of culture and faith.
