The University of St. La Salle – College of Education (CEd) hosted two students from Soegijapranata Catholic University (SCU) – Indonesia, from August – September 2025, as part of its internationalization initiatives under CEd’s Experiential Learning Courses Program.
The two SCU students were Alvin Bintang Miza Come Reba and Joseph Alvin Prasetya. Both were assigned to the Basic Education Unit to conduct a month-long classroom observations, immersing themselves in the Philippine educational context while enriching their teaching and learning perspectives through intercultural exchange.

The partnership between USLS and SCU, a proud member of the Association of Southeast and East Asian Catholic Colleges and Universities (ASEACCU), was formally established through a Memorandum of Agreement signed in 2024.
The agreement covers international internships, faculty exchanges, and joint academic programs, strengthening the link between the two Lasallian institutions.
Through this collaboration, the USLS College of Education reaffirms its commitment to producing globally competent educators and fostering meaningful international engagements that benefit both students and faculty.
